From Mr Muhammad Yasin

 
 
To begin with, we invited MR Muhammad Yasin, an entrepreneur from our brother country Pakistan, he’s been staying in China for many years since he came to China early in 1985 as a foreign student and he’s witness of the tremendous changes and development from Chinese opening up policy. Let’s take a look at what MR Yasin will say about his views on our interview.
 
首先，我们邀请了穆罕默德·亚辛先生，他是一位来自我们兄弟国家巴基斯坦的企业家，自1985年作为一名外国留学生来到中国以来，他已经在中国呆了多年，他见证了中国开放政策带来的巨大变化和发展。让我们来看看亚辛先生在接受我们的采访时会谈些什么感受。 
1. When did you come to China? Why did you choose your current job or field on entrepreneurship? What appeals you in Beijing? 你是什么时候来中国的?你为什么选择现在的工作或领域来创业?北京对你有什么吸引力?
On 2^nd Oct 1985 ,I flew from Karachi to Beijing by Air France . I achieved a scholarship from a famous Chinese university named Nankai University to study four years of undergraduate program in the field of Biotechnology. It was an ideal and attractive offer for me so I had to accept it and decided to go for it. It was an unknow place for me but as from our childhood we knew that China is our brotherly and friendly country so there was nothing to worry about. Nankai University four year education program was a great experience which had helped me in building my mind set, character building and enhanced international exposure for my future carrier. Learning Chinese language has given me an extra benefit indeed.
1985年10月2日，我乘法航从卡拉奇飞往北京。我获得了中国著名大学南开大学的奖学金，在生物技术领域进行了四年的本科学习。这对我来说是一个理想而有吸引力的机会，所以我不得不接受它，并决定去争取它。这对我来说是一个陌生的地方，但从我们小时候起，我们就知道中国是我们的兄弟和友好国家，所以没有什么可担心的。南开大学的四年教育计划是一个很好的经历，它帮助我建立了我的思维定式，性格塑造，并为我未来的航母增加了国际知名度。学习中文确实给我带来了额外的好处。
因为我学的是生物技术，所以我选择了它作为我的载体路径，开始在农业和食品加工领域创业，这仍然是我的主要业务重点。
北京作为一个国际化的城市，中国历史和文化的中心一直吸引着我。它现在在国际地缘政治中扮演着重要的角色。        
2. China has seen improving international entrepreneurs in recent years. How do you feel about starting a business in Beijing? What are difficulties in different periods? 近年来，中国的国际企业家越来越多。您对在北京创业有何感想?不同时期有哪些困难?
Yes indeed Beijing has provided tremendous opportunities to international entrepreneurs and gradually improved the system due to which we are now enjoying the benefits of polices of the local government.
It is easy to start business in China specially in Beijing within policies frame work and didnt feel any difficulties to run a business here.
As Beijing is the center of the country’s politics, history and cultural so only particular businesses are allowed. From open door policies in 1980 till today , the difficulties have been improved a lot .
 
是的，北京确实为国际企业家提供了巨大的机会，并逐步完善了制度，因此我们现在正享受着当地政府政策的好处。
在中国创业很容易，特别是在北京，政策框架很好，在这里做生意没有任何困难。
因为北京是国家的政治、历史和文化中心，所以只允许某些特定的企业在这里经营。从1980年的对外开放政策到今天，困难已经得到了很大的改善。 
    
3. How have you learned about different laws and regulations on businesses and gotten license in China? Have you gained support from local ones? 您是如何了解中国不同的商业法律法规并取得营业执照的? 你们是否得到了当地的支持?
As I described that I have completed my graduation from Tianjin Nankai University so first I have registered my company in Tianjin Port free zone to get special benefits of the economic zone in 1994. Later on I have studied Beijing city business registration guide through some service providing companies in Beijing and found that it is also business friendly for foreign entrepreneurs. There are certain law companies in Beijing who are providing one window registration process.
 
正如我所描述的，我已经完成了我的天津南开大学的毕业，所以首先我在天津保税区注册了我的公司在1994年享受经济特区的特殊待遇。后来，我通过北京一些提供服务的公司研究了北京城市商业注册指南，发现它对外国企业家也很友好。北京有一些律师事务所提供的是一窗注册流程。
 
4. How do you view tech and digital economy progress in China in recent years? Are there opportunities and boons for you? 您如何看待中国近年来科技和数字经济的发展?对你来说是否有机会和好处?
China has successfully digitalized the economy in the recent years which provided easy access to different business circles this will speed up business process however China is a foreign currency exchange control country and we have to follow up the government procedure in business transactions.
Frankly speaking last three years of covid regime has effected alot all businesses and now we are trying to rebuild our business channels which will take some time but as China has first class infrastructure so the gap will be covered faster. Secondly, all over the world there is an economic crisis so it will take time to resume the business opportunities.
近年来，中国成功地实现了经济数字化，这为不同的商界提供了便利，这将加快业务流程，但中国是一个外汇管制国家，我们必须在商业交易中遵循政府程序。
坦率地说，过去三年的新冠疫情影响了很多企业，现在我们正试图重建我们的商业渠道，这需要一些时间，但由于中国拥有一流的基础设施，因此差距将更快地被弥补。其次，世界各地都有经济危机，所以恢复商业机会需要时间。  
 
5. How do you think of opportunities in the Chinese market? How have the market and Chinese consumers changed in recent years? 你如何看待中国市场的机会?这几年市场和中国消费者发生了怎样的变化?
In recent years China has opened new sectors for foreign entrepreneurs in Food and agriculture, High tech industries, and so on. There are tremendous opportunities for other countries and their products that can have a high market share
近年来，中国在食品和农业、高科技产业等领域向外国企业家开放了新的领域。这对其他国家和他们的产品来说是巨大的机会，它们可以占有很高的市场份额 
 
6. China has been opening up various sectors and improving business environment. What are fields that need further improvement for you? 中国一直在不断扩大各领域开放，不断改善营商环境。您认为哪些领域还需要进一步完善? 
Yes indeed China has opened new sectors to show a good gesture to the world. I think China may open service sectors to foreign entrepreneurs, allow world human talent in social art , commercial arts and naturalization policies and procedures may soften to get better result and good opportunities for foreign enterprises.
是的，中国确实开放了新的领域，向世界展示了良好的姿态。我认为中国可能会向外国企业家开放服务业，允许世界人类在社会艺术、商业艺术和归化政策和程序方面的人才可能会软化，为外国企业获得更好的结果和良好的机会。 
 
7. As social and economic activities resume this year, how have your businesses been? What are your future prospects? 随着今年社会经济活动的恢复，您的生意做得怎么样?对未来有何展望?
 
Indeed China is doing a lot of efforts to stabilize geopolitics which lead to better social , economic activities peacefully and every one can enjoy the fruit of hard working by utilizing talent around the world. I believe that these efforts will soon bring a double win situation for everyone. There are future prospects domestic and international businesses.
的确，中国正在做很多努力来稳定地缘政治，从而促进更好的社会、经济和平活动，每个人都可以通过利用世界各地的人才来享受辛勤工作的成果。我相信，这些努力很快就会给大家带来双赢的局面。国内和国际的业务都有未来的前景。
 
8. What are the reasons that you join ZTA（Zhongguancun Talent Association）and what kind of service do you expect from ZTA? 你加入ZTA(中关村人才协会)的原因是什么，你对ZTA有什么样的服务期待?
I have been in China since last 35 years and one of the witnesses of China’s fast development which is an extra example in human history. I need a platform like ZTA to deliver my experience as well as update myself with new developments in China and can be a bridge between China and Pakistan for economic activities.
我在中国已经35年了，是中国快速发展的见证者之一，这是人类历史上一个额外的例子。我需要一个像ZTA这样的平台来传递我的经验，并更新自己，了解中国的新发展，并可以成为中国和巴基斯坦之间经济活动的桥梁。
